Spark the Rise: Make your voice heard!

Posted By: Rise Team|Dated: September 12, 2011

On 12 September, more than 800 projects for driving positive change in India went live on www.sparktherise.com.  Passionate people are building project plans for solving the issues they see across India.  The next step?  It’s up to you.

Everyone has an opinion about what needs to be done.  Now everyone has a voice.  Hundreds of people have submitted projects, and they need your support to carry them out.  You can volunteer for projects that need your skills—or vote for which ones should earn a grant.  Login easily through Facebook or make a profile to vote for the projects you think will drive the most change.  You can vote for as many projects as you want—one vote for each project you think is worthy.

If you’ve got your own idea, you can create your own project for the next round.  Spark the Rise is a platform for motivated people to join forces to tackle issues in India today.  For the next six months, we’ll accept project submissions from people all over India. Each month, 8 projects will receive grants from Mahindra.  Three grants will be given by an expert jury, and five grants will be given to the projects with the most votes from the public.

Voting for the first round is open until Friday, 30 September.  Make your voice heard on www.sparktherise.com.

Let Mahindra develop a 3 seater 2 wheeler which you popularized in 3 idiots. It will change the industry totally. Just extend the length of the bike by few inches so 3 guys can ride safely all over India in particular rural India,
